I have loved you since I was 7 years old,at 14 I saw you in concert and it was the greatest night of my life, then 4 month later you left us. I cried so much my eyes swelled up. you were a big part of my childhood my whole family loved you so much they named my baby brother Elvis after you. now that I'm older I look back and my teenage years and see how your songs helped me along those hard growing up years. it felt like you were my friend and were by myside when the other kids in school made fun of me for looking diferent , because I had the spanish look. thank God I lieved at a time when you were here too.
thank you for everything you did ,for the way you made us feel,for your music,your voice and for sharing your talent and love your life with us.

according to the news, you died shortly after my mother took her life. I always thought that her and i would go together and see you. When i was young i got to stay up late and watch everyone of your movies. MY MOTHER TOOK HER LIFE, THEN YOU DIED, my world was collapsing. almost 20 yrs later my daughter and i went to graceland to see your home. I cried so much and she understood. It was so special to me. But at the same time i felt a loss that i can never get back or explain. I miss you so much and can never tell you how much of an impact you put on my life. All i can say is i hope you are having "SWEET DREAMS'
